The British Wireless for the Blind fund provides Audio Equipment for people with a visual impairment who are in receipt of a means tested benefit. We are very proud to be the first organisation in Scotland to officially work in partnership with Sunu. They have developed the Sunu Band. This is a smart bracelet that can connect to your mobile phone or can be used alone. It is able to use ultra sonic technology to inform you of any objectives that are in front of you by gently vibrating using its advanced haptic engine. It can tell you the time too through haptic feedback. When connected to your phone it can give you directions, Act as a compass, set alarms and be a pedometer.
