Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11 is the latest addition to the long running iconic franchise. Developed by Netherrealm MK11 is a fighting game and is available on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, PC and Stadia. The game has a wide range of playable options Including conquering the story mode and defeating the legendary towers, to single online and AI battles and a full tutorial mode of all moves and combos. There is also a great selection of past and present characters to play as.
Netherrealm have added a couple of accessibility features For MK11.The first feature is audio announcements for the main menu and some sub menus as well as character selection. Next there is an audio cue to indicate objects That you can jump or throw your opponent off. You also have audio sound effects for mostly every interaction including punching, blocking and movement. Along with the audio cue and sound effects there is subtitles for the story mode and the ability to remap all the controls for the game.
I have been playing Mortal Kombat 11 for a while now and I really enjoy playing it. I like the fact that MK11 is available to play on so many platforms. Also, the audio in this game is fantastic, having the ability to locate your opponent just by sound is a great addition for blind players. One of the things that could improve Mk 11 is having menu narration instead of the menu announcements. The menu announcements are great but not all menus are announced including the setting menu along with most of the tutorial.
All in all, Netherrealm has done a great job developing MK11. They are continually adding new characters along with a second story mode. I thoroughly recommend Mortal Kombat 11 as it is one of the few fighting games available that is accessible and for that reason you should give it a try.
