Cribbage is a card game that involves only six cards in your hand. You are primarily concern with the value of the card and not the suit. This makes Cribbage a great game for a blind or visually impaired person to follow. The interface with VoiceOver is easy and intuitive. There are also three difficulties to choose from depending on your skill level. As each card is played, the app calls out the value. At the end of a round, it will announce both your and your opponent’s scores. The one fault is that face cards are only announced as “ten”, when it would be more informative to state “queen for ten points”. Without knowing this detail, the player has to swipe up to the played cards to determine the specific card The opponent laid down. This detail ensures you are aware of pair and run potentials. Cribbage involves both strategy and luck and provides a high level of mental stimulation.
